The City Manager's Office is responsible for preparation of the City's Operating and Capital Improvements Budgets, grants administration, personnel matters and Council agenda preparation. It also works closely with the City Council in identifying policy and program issues and addressing community concerns. The Department staff also serves as liaisons to various regional organizations and coordinates multi-jurisdictional projects.
Odis Jones brings 30+ years of executive leadership across local and state governments, serving as City Manager, CEO, and Executive Director in Texas, Ohio, Michigan, and New Jersey. He has led $1.5B budgets, delivered nationally recognized revitalization projects, and attracted billions in private investment. He was unanimously approved by the City Council in December 2025.
