The Volunteer Information Professionals (VIP) program mission is to assist passengers to ensure a friendly and positive experience at LAX. The personal touch is what passengers remember most during their travels which makes our volunteers “Very Important People” as well as Volunteer Information Professionals!
VIPs are located in information booths on the Arrivals Level of some LAX terminals and on occasion, volunteers may roam the terminals. Each volunteer shift is 3 hours, and we ask for a commitment of 9 hours (3 shifts) a month. Hours of operation are 7 AM to 10 PM, 7 days a week. Including Holidays and Weekends.
