Current City Fee Schedule
The comprehensive fee schedule for Fiscal Year 2026-2027(PDF, 1MB) will go into effect July 1, 2026.
The current and updated fee schedule for Fiscal Year 2025-2026(PDF, 2MB) went into effect July 1, 2025.
On January 13, 2025,City Council held a public hearing and approved and adopted the Comprehensive Fee Schedule by Resolution No. 2025-R008. All user fees associated with development projects went into effect March 14, 2025, 60 days after Council adoption, in accordance with State law. All other user fees were effective upon adoption. At the April 28, 2025 City Council meeting, a public hearing was held and the annual update to the Comprehensive Fee Schedule was adopted by Resolution No. 2025-R040. The April 28, 2025 staff report and attachment(PDF, 4MB) are available for review.
Additional updates to the fee schedule were adopted and approved by Resolution No. 2025-R058 at the June 23, 2025 City Council meeting in a public hearing. The June 23, 2025 staff report and attachments are available for review.
At the May 26, 2026 City Council meeting two separate public hearings were conducted and updates to the Comprehensive Fee Schedule were adopted and approved by Resolutions No. 2026-R046 and No. 2026-R047. The first public hearing covered updates to the City fees not associated with the Parks, Recreation & Community Services Department (PRCS) and the second covered updates to fees associated with PRCS. A 45-day notice was provided to consider the adoption of changes to the Fee Rates(PDF, 291KB), and to consider all written protests against the proposed rates. Members of the public are welcome to attend and speak at the public hearing. Oral comments at the public hearing will not qualify as written protests. A failure to timely object in writing bars any right to challenge the fee in court and any such action will be limited to issues identified in your objection. Public Comments are not the same as protests. All protests for a proposed fee must be submitted in writing by persons subject to the proposed fee. Written protests must include your name, parcel number, and grounds for the protest, and must be submitted to the City Clerk at City Hall, 9770 Culver Boulevard, Culver City, CA 90232 prior to the close of the hearing. Emailed or oral protests will not count as "protests" for purposes of the proposed fees.
Comprehensive Fee Study
The City completed a comprehensive study of its user fees and service delivery costs(PDF, 9MB) to update the Fee Schedule for Fiscal Year 2024-2025. The study was presented to the City’s Finance Advisory Committee on September 25, 2024 and the City Council Audit, Financial Planning, and Budget Subcommittee on October 3, 2024.
