The City is envisioning the future for Culver West Alexander Park—and we want to hear from you! As proposed in the 2025 Culver City Parks Plan, the department of Parks, Recreation & Community Services (PRCS) is tasked with replacing outdated play equipment, study inclusion of play equipment for bigger kids and teens, and resurface the toddler play area. PRCS is happy to share that they have received an opportunity for funding for these proposed changes at Culver West Alexander Park.
The new playgrounds will replace the existing play structures for the toddler play area as well as the playground for ages 5-12. Surfacing and fencing are also being replaced in both areas. The department is hosting this community meeting in order to receive feedback on the community's needs and wants for the new playgrounds, to share preliminary design options with residents, and discuss the rough timeline for the project.
