Join the community for a meaningful celebration honoring the legacy, message, and enduring spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.. Hosted by the Culver City Parks, Recreation & Community Services Department in partnership with the Culver City Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration and Juneteenth Celebration Advisory Committee, this annual event brings residents together for a day of reflection, service, and connection.

MLK Day is the only federal holiday designated by Congress as a National Day of Service—an opportunity to honor Dr. King’s life and work by strengthening our community through action. The celebration will feature live entertainment, special guests, exhibits and activities, a resource fair, refreshments, and an opportunity drawing.

The event will take place at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium, located at 4117 Overland Avenue. Additional details, including the event schedule and performances, will be announced soon.

Save the date and plan to join us as Culver City comes together to celebrate service, unity, and community in the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
