The City Council is pleased to invite your participation in a Public Hearing concerning the following:

WHO:      Lauren Fishelman (Appellant)

WHAT:    Consideration of an Appeal of the Planning Commission’s decision to adopt Resolution No. 2025-P011 approving a Conditional Use Permit and a Class 1 Categorical Exemption from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), for a new vehicle services facility within an existing 42,333 sq. ft. industrial building, including 67 parking spaces and associated façade improvements, P2025-0174-CUP. The project site has a General Plan Land Use designation of Mixed Use Corridor 2 and is located in the Mixed Use Corridor 2 (MU-2) Zoning District (Case No. P2025-0233-APPEAL). The Applicant has since prepared a Class 32 Categorical Exemption from CEQA which is also added to the record.

WHY:      The purpose of the Public Hearing is for the City Council to review and receive public input on the Appeal of Conditional Use Permit and Class 1 Categorical Exemption, P2025-0174-CUP, and the addition of a Class 32 Categorical Exemption from CEQA. 

The City Council Agenda and project staff report will be available for viewing online, and at City Hall no later than 72 hours prior to the meeting date and time.
