Culver City Community Cultural Equity Plan 2025

Cultural Plan

What Is the Community Cultural Equity Plan?

The Community Cultural Equity Plan is a guide for how Culver City will support and grow arts, culture, and creativity in our community. It focuses on fairness (equity), making sure everyone has access to the arts, and celebrating the unique voices of our city.

Why It Matters

  • It helps the City invest in arts programs and projects.

  • It gives local artists and organizations opportunities to share their work.

  • It connects people from different neighborhoods and backgrounds through creativity.

  • It ensures our community’s history and culture are honored while planning for the future.

Public Engagement Opportunities

Over the next year, we’ll be inviting YOU—the community—to share ideas and experiences. Some ways to get involved include:

  • Community Meetings: Open conversations about culture in Culver City.

  • Workshops: Help shape goals for arts, culture, and equity.

  • Youth Engagement: Special events for students and young people.

  • Pop-Up Activities: Fun, creative events in public spaces.

Your voice is important. These events will help ensure the Community Cultural Equity Plan reflects the whole community.

When Will the Plan Be Ready?

The goal is to complete the Community Cultural Equity Plan and have it ready for City approval by late 2026 (October–December).
