The local library is host to many civic public events and has hosted US presidents and international dignitaries. The library space and its multiple meeting rooms are available for use with event restrictions as appropriate for the library space. The library is run by the county of Los Angeles.

Culver City is home to 13 parks and parkettes. Many of the parks have facilities and event lawns that are available for public and private use. Each location has its own restrictions, and not all are available for events. Please check the PRCS website to see if one of the facilities meets your needs. The largest of the facilities is Veterans memorial auditorium, which has a stage and seating. The parks are operated by the city under the department of Parks Recreation and Community services. Residents are given priority use and pricing for the use of facilities.

Kirk Douglas Theatre

The Kirk Douglas Theater is a publicly owned building operated by Center Theater Group, a regional stage production company that puts on multiple stage productions a year. The space is available for rental when not in production and has 317 seats and a full A/V system. Media park is a small park operated by the City of Culver City. It has hosted multiple private and public events and is also the home to stage productions over summer by The Actors Gang. The space is available for rental with a license agreement from the City. The space is limited on power and has no public restrooms, so depending on event size both power and restrooms may be required to be brought in for events. The space is located across from city parking garages in Downtown Culver City, an area dense with restaurants and public spaces.
Stoneview Nature Center

Stoneview Nature Center is a five-acre site that offers visitors a chance to discover a new passion for the outdoors, and learn more about health and wellness through meditative garden spaces, inspiring artwork, a Demonstration Garden and Community Kitchen. The space is available for private events within the allowable uses by the Los Angeles County parks department.

Three of the largest park facilities in Culver City are the Veterans memorial auditorium, the senior center and the teen center. The auditorium has a large stage and seating, the senior center has multiple rooms and the teen center also offers a large open space. These facilities are heavily programmed by PRCS, however they are available for private events. The parks are operated by the city under the department of Parks Recreation and Community services. Residents are given priority use and pricing for the use of facilities.
Wende Museum & Glorya Kaufman Community Center

The Wende Museum is a public museum complex which includes and outdoor garden and the Glorya Kaufman Community Center. The space is available for private events and includes the Aframe theater with 60+ seats, the meandering garden and multiple meeting rooms. The building have an adjacent public parking lot.

Robert Frost Auditorium - Culver City High School

The Robert Frost Auditorium is a publicly owned building operated by the Culver City School District. It is primarily used by the school district for school productions, however it is available for rent during non-school times, primarily over summer. The space is has a full stage, sound production and has a capacity of over 1,100 seats, a ticketing box-office and a small adjacent school parking lot. Located in a residential area, this theater is limited in parking and may require off-site parking for larger events.
