Special Events

The City of Culver City hosts a variety of Annual Events each year either produced directly by the City or in partnership with other local or charitable organizations.

Economic  and Cultural Development oversees the City's Special Event Grant Program, Special Event Permit Applications for City Sponsored events, produces the Summer Sunset Music Series, the Jazz Nights fall series, Love Local Program activations, Artisan Marketplaces, Vibes after Five, State of The City and collaborates with City organizations to implement major events including the Culver City Car Show, Art Fest, Taste of Culver City, Holiday Tree Lighting, and Independence celebrations.  The department also produces the City's cultural celebrations such as MLK, Juneteenth, Lunar New Year and Hispanic Heritage.
