On Thursday, April 24th, the Women's Leadership Project, GSA Network, the Young Musicians Foundation, Earthlodge Center and other community partners will hold a LGBTQ+ Youth of Color Music Institute at the Stoneview Nature Center in Culver City (April 24th is an unassigned day for LAUSD).
The event will focus on the contributions, artistry, and dynamism of Black and BIPOC queer musicians and musical traditions with hands-on production, performance, songwriting and collaborative workshops for middle and high school youth!
Featuring nonbinary singer-musician Danni Cassette and other community artists.
