November 3, 2026 General Municipal Election Information
Potential Candidate Information
The next General Municipal Election will be held for two seats. To run for election in the City of Culver City you must be:
- A United States Citizen
- 18 years old on or before election day
- Registered to vote in the City of Culver City at the time the nomination paper is issued (you can verify your voter registration online with the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder's Office)
Before any candidate raises or spends any money in connection with their campaign, they must first complete and sign the Fair Political Practices Commission Form 501 to be filed with the City Clerk.
The Candidate Nomination Period is July 13, 2026 - August 7, 2026.

Ballot Measure Information
As of March 27, the City Council has approved one ballot measure to be included in the November 3, 2026 General Municipal Election. The official Calling of the Election will take place at an upcoming City Council meeting prior to July 13, 2026, after which measure information will be listed and arguments may be submitted. Please contact the City Clerk's Office for more information regarding measures and arguments.
