The City Council is pleased to invite your participation in a Public Hearing concerning the following: 

WHO: City of Culver City Advance Planning Division

WHAT:    City-Initiated Zoning Code Amendment to Culver City Municipal Code Section 17.210.015, Residential District Land Uses and Permit Requirements, Section 17.220.015, Mixed Use District Land Uses and Permit Requirements, and Chapter 17.400, Standards for Specific Land Uses, to implement California State Senate Bill 79, the Abundant and Affordable Homes Near Transit Act.

WHERE:  REGULAR MEETING – Attend in-person or Virtually

WHEN:    Monday, May 11, 2026, at 7 PM

WHY:      The purpose of the Public Hearing is for the City Council to review and receive public input on the proposed updates to the Municipal Code, and act on the text amendment.

CEQA: Pursuant to California Government Code §65912.160(c)(2), the ordinance is not considered a project under CEQA

The City Council Agenda and Project staff report will be available for viewing at City Hall no later than 72 hours prior to the meeting date and time.
