Celebrate International Walk to School Day on October 7

Join Culver City students, families and community members on Wednesday, October 7, for International Walk to School Day, an annual celebration that encourages walking, biking and other forms of active transportation to school.

Walk ‘n Rollers, in partnership with the City of Culver City, is inviting the community to get walking and rolling as Culver City joins thousands of schools and millions of students around the world participating in the event.

Road Closure and Parking Impacts

To support International Walk to School Day, Elenda Street will be closed to vehicular traffic between Culver Boulevard and Farragut Drive from 6 AM to 10 AM on Wednesday, October 7.

During the closure:

• Vehicles will not be permitted to travel on Elenda Street within the closure area.
• Parking will not be permitted on Elenda Street within the closure area.
• Temporary No Parking signs will be posted in advance to notify motorists.

Drivers traveling through the area should plan ahead and allow additional time for alternate routes.
