The program features original music by award winning composers Emer Kinsella, Duncan Thum, Vivek Maddala, Layla Minoui, Yuichiro Oku, Amit May Cohen, Zack Hexum & Niki Hexum, performed live by the Emersion Ensemble with movement artists.
Inspired by the Wende Museum’s connection to transformation and turning points, CURRENTS explores how history moves like water: carrying memory, changing shape, and replenishing what comes next.

Emersion Music is a Los Angeles-based arts collective dedicated to redefining the concert experience through emotionally resonant, interdisciplinary performance. Led by composer Emer Kinsella, the group creates work that fosters deep listening, communal reflection, and artistic transformation, using music as a vehicle for connection and cultural storytelling.
