About the Hayden Tract Specific Plan
Known for its industrial history, distinctive architecture, and creative community, the Hayden Tract has long played an important role in Culver City's identity and economy.
The Hayden Tract Specific Plan will help guide the area's evolution into a vibrant, transit-oriented mixed-use neighborhood while supporting the creative businesses and arts community that give the Hayden Tract its unique character.
The plan is intended to:
- Guide new residential, commercial, and mixed-use development.
- Establish development standards that support the Hayden Tract's creative office and arts community.
- Create a more walkable and accessible neighborhood with connections to multiple modes of transportation.
- Take advantage of the area's proximity to two Metro E Line stations, the Ballona Creek Bike Path, and nearby activity centers.
Public hearings for consideration and adoption of the Specific Plan are anticipated to take place between November 2026 and January 2027.
