NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING
The City Council is pleased to invite your participation in a Public Hearing for the following:
WHO: City of Culver City Current Planning Division
WHAT: Proposed Urgency or Regular Ordinance to define and regulate Autonomous Vehicle Fleet Service land uses.
WHERE: REGULAR MEETING – Attend in-person or virtually
City Hall – Mike Balkman Council Chambers, 9770 Culver Blvd, Culver City, CA 90232
WHEN: Monday, September 14, 2026, at 7 PM
WHY: The purpose of the Public Hearing is for the City Council to review and receive public input on a proposed Urgency or Regular Ordinance to regulate Autonomous Vehicle Fleet Service land uses and performance standards.
CEQA: Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Chapter 3, Section 15061(b)(3), this ordinance is statutorily exempt from CEQA, because the activity is covered by the general rule that CEQA applies only to projects which have the potential for causing a significant adverse effect on the environment. The proposed ordinance introduces regulations designed to reduce the environmental impacts of a newly defined land use related to electric vehicles, and because there is no possibility that this ordinance may have a significant adverse effect on the environment, its adoption is exempt from CEQA.
The City Council Agenda and project staff report will be available for viewing online and at City Hall no later than 72 hours prior to the meeting date and time.
