NOTICE OF PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING
The Planning Commission is pleased to invite your participation in a Public Hearing for the following:
WHO: Lafayette Place Apartments LLC (Applicant) / Rand Paster & Nelson LLP (Applicant Representative)
WHAT: Consideration of a Site Plan Review (SPR) to construct a 6-story residential development with 40 units (3 Very Low-Income, and 3 Moderate Income), in the Residential Medium Density (RMD) Zone (Case No.: P2026-0156-SPR-DOBI).
WHERE: REGULAR MEETING – Attend in Person or Virtually
City Hall – Mike Balkman Council Chambers, 9770 Culver Blvd, Culver City, CA 90232
WHEN: Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 7 PM
WHY: The purpose of the Public Hearing is for the Planning Commission to review and receive public input on the proposed development, and to consider approval of the project.
CEQA: Pursuant to the California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Section 15061(b)(1) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, the Project is exempt from CEQA by statute. The Project is a housing development project that meets the applicable criteria of Public Resources Code Section 21080.66, therefore no further environmental review is required.
The Planning Commission Agenda and project staff report will be available for viewing online and at City Hall no later than 72 hours prior to the meeting date and time. You may submit comments BEFORE 3 PM on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, by LETTER to Culver City Current Planning Division, ATTN: Andrea Fleck, 9770 Culver Boulevard, 2nd Floor, Culver City, CA 90232, EMAIL to andrea.fleck@culvercity.gov, or PHONE at (310) 253-5737. City Hall Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and closed every other Friday (closed October 16th, 2026).
