Project Description - Hotel (Revised Entitlement)

  • 0.78 acre site in the Mixed Use Corridor 2 (MU-2)/General Commercial (CG) Zone. (The project was deemed complete under the previous Zoning Code)
  • Demolition of existing commercial strip mall
  • Construction of a 5-story, 147-room hotel with restaurant and coffee-shop amenities, and one level of below grade parking

Entitlements:

  • Site Plan Review 
  • Administrative Use Permit

CEQA:

  • This project was reviewed under the 2021 certified Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND). After analysis, the revised project was determined to fall below the thresholds, scale, and built area for the certified MND. No new or additional design features are being proposed that go above and beyond the context of the certified MND. In addition, all applicable mitigation measures included as part of the certified MND would continue to be implemented under the modified project.

  • Construction of a 5-story, 175-room boutique hotel with food and beverage amenities, and a two-level below grade parking garage
