The Advance Planning Division prepares long-range plans and development policies, consistent with the State of California requirements, based on direction from the Planning Commission and City Council. The division collaborates closely with stakeholders to gather input and ensure that planning efforts reflect the needs and aspirations of the community. Advance Planning conducts studies and research to analyze development challenges and opportunities. The division monitors and reports on housing and commercial development in the City.
