It’s almost time for Culver City’s Fall 2026 Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) In-Person Skills Training, and we still have a few spots remaining!
The Culver City Fire Department invites community members to register for this free, two-day course on November 7 and 14, offering an opportunity to join your neighbors and build practical skills to help yourself, your family, and your community during an emergency.
This free training covers disaster preparedness, fire safety, basic disaster medical operations, and light search and rescue. Through hands-on activities, participants will practice skills that can support their community when emergencies occur.
Participants must attend both full days—November 7 and November 14—to complete the course.
Training is open to participants ages 16 and older who live or work in Culver City. Before registering for the in-person training, participants must complete the free, 12-hour, self-paced online CERT course. After completing the online course, download your completion certificate and upload it when registering for the in-person training.
Visit Fire Deparment's CERT Training webpage to access the online course and find registration instructions for the November training. For questions, contact, CulverCityCERT@culvercity.gov.
