Know Before You Go: Fiesta La Ballona Fun, Parking, Staying Cool

This year’s 75th anniversary celebration will bring the community together for a weekend of live entertainment, food, family-friendly activities, carnival fun, and Culver City tradition at Veterans Memorial Park.
Before you head to Fiesta, here are a few things to know.
Helpful Tips
Plan Ahead for the Heat
It is expected to be a hot weekend, with temperatures in the upper 80s and low 90s. Attendees are encouraged to dress for the weather, wear sunscreen, and bring reusable water bottles.
Free water stations will be available throughout the event, along with misters to help guests cool off. The Veterans Memorial Building will also be available as a cooling center during Fiesta.
Cool Off at Fiesta Aquacade
Families are encouraged to take part in Fiesta Aquacade, a weekend of aquatic-themed programming and a great way to cool off during Fiesta.

Underwater Wonderland
Explore classic aquatic memorabilia, search for hidden treasures, and meet magical mermaids for unforgettable photos.

Family Fun
Enjoy floating fountains, cool inflatables, themed arts and crafts, and complimentary treats.
- Sunday, August 30 | 12 PM to 6 PM
Enchanted Aquatic
Enjoy one last day of aquatic fun with an inflatable obstacle course challenge, themed crafts, sensory activities, and treats.
Enjoy Two Entertainment Stages
For the first time, Fiesta will feature two entertainment stages, giving visitors even more ways to enjoy live performances throughout the weekend. The Main Stage lineup will include classic rock, folklorico, funk, jazz, hip hop big band, world music, R&B, soul, Latin, indie rock, Caribbean, country, New Orleans funk, Afro-Cuban, salsa, and more.
The Community Stage will also spotlight local talent and organizations throughout the weekend.
Food, Drinks, and Community Fun
Guests can enjoy 45 food vendors and a wide variety of community, artisan, nonprofit, and local organization booths.
The Beer and Wine Garden, hosted by the Exchange Club, will also be open for adults 21 and older who would like to enjoy an adult beverage during Fiesta.
Tickets and Entry
Entry to Fiesta is free. Ride wristbands are available for purchase now, so families are encouraged to plan ahead before arriving.
Parking and Shuttle Information
Parking will be available at the Sony Studios lot located along Overland Avenue (B Street entrance), with shuttle service provided to the event.
ADA parking will also be available in the Sony Studios lot and on the south side of Veterans Memorial Park along Barman Avenue.
We also encourage people to bike, bus, scooter or walk over to Fiesta. A bike valet will be available for riders. You can also plan your trip on Culver CityBus by using the new Transit app.
