NOTICE OF PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING
The Planning Commission is pleased to invite your participation in a Public Hearing for the following:
WHO: City of Culver City Current Planning Division
WHAT: Proposed City-Initiated Zoning Code Amendment to Culver City Municipal Code Chapter 17.320 – Off-Street Parking and Loading, to establish new parking maximum ratios and procedures for new and redeveloped projects.
WHERE: REGULAR MEETING – Attend in-person or virtually
City Hall – Mike Balkman Council Chambers, 9770 Culver Blvd, Culver City, CA 90232
WHEN: Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 7 PM
WHY: The purpose of the Public Hearing is for the Planning Commission to review and receive public input on the proposed updates to the Municipal Code and make recommendations to the City Council.
CEQA: Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Chapter 3, Section 15061(b)(3), this ordinance is statutorily exempt from CEQA, because the activity is covered by the general rule that CEQA applies only to projects which have the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment. The proposed ordinance would limit the quantity of parking provided on site, and because there is no possibility that this ordinance may have a significant adverse effect on the environment, its adoption is exempt from CEQA.
The Planning Commission Agenda and project staff report will be available for viewing online and at City Hall no later than 72 hours prior to the meeting date and time.
