January
Martin Luther King, Jr Celebration - In January, the Culver City community gathers to honor and celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Culver City is inspired by the work of Dr. King, who committed his life to the pursuit of equality and justice for all, and by his dedication to use peaceful means to teach social justice. Every Year Culver City honors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by hosting a celebratory day of music, education and service.
February
Lunar New Year - A new tradition in Culver City. This is a free family-friendly event that takes place at Town Plaza in Downtown Culver City. It celebrates the many Asian cultures that make the community vibrant in and around Culver City. The celebration includes performances from local groups, professional dragon and lion dances to traditional crafts and decor.

March
Screenland 5K - A cinema themed 5K event that takes over a stretch of road from Ivy Station on National and Washington and goes to Overland and Culver. This event is a great way to explore Culver City and engage with the community. The event includes live music, costume contest and run/walks for kids and families.

April
Spring Egg-stravaganza The Culver City Park, Recreation and Community Services Department hosts this annual spring event at Veterans Park, 4117 Overland Ave on the main field in partnership with the Culver City Kiwanis Club. The hunt is for ages walking to 12 years old. In addition to the egg hunts, there are fun family activities, including arts & crafts, carnival games, picnic games and a photo op with Mr. Bunny. Don't forget your baskets!

Culver City Car Show - With over 600 movie-themed, classic, hot rod and modified cars take over all of Downtown Culver City for a full day of strolling, music and cars! Skateside Fest- This annual event brings together all things wheels in Culver City. While the main emphasis is the skateboarding culture, this events features vendors, kids activities, food and music. Learn more about The Skateside and Skateside Fest.
June
Culver City Pride Festival - Culver City is proud to celebrate all community members and has been a partner with the Pride event since it's inception. This is an all day celebration of our LGBTQ+ community with music, stage performances, education, art and community building. This event takes place at Town Plaza and is free to attend. Annual Culver City Garden Club Show & Plant Sale - The 70th Annual Garden Club Show and Plant Sale will feature horticultural and urban garden competitions, plant and flower exhibitions, vendors, plant sales, raffle prizes—plus educational workshops, presentations, demos, and a Master Gardener panel. Partially a fundraiser, but the primary purpose is to educate, stimulate interest in gardening and provide an outlet for creative expression.
Juneteenth - Culver City’s annual Juneteenth event brings a day of reflection, education, and celebration. This is a free, family-friendly event and will feature resources, kids' activities, and live music performances. Juneteenth celebrates the emancipation and freedom of enslaved people of African descent in the United States.
July
Independence Celebration - The Downtown Business Association organizes a celebration in Town Plaza on July 5th. The celebration includes activities, music and the grand finale, a patriotic drone show over the skies of Culver City. Summer Sunset Music Series - Culver City produces 6 to 8 annual concerts that take place at Town Plaza on Thursdays in July and August. The concerts are always free, always well attended and a Summer tradition for the locals. Plenty of seating with good music as the sun sets behind the Culver Hotel. Concerts run from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and the music genre changes weekly to represent our diverse community.
August
Fiesta La Ballona - Now in it's 75th Year, "Fiesta" is a Culver City tradition that spans generations. This three-day carnival style event takes over Veterans Memorial Park and includes food vendors, craft vendors, music stages, beer garden and many carnival rides. Free to attend with a fee for the carnival rides and concessions.
October
Art Fest - Formerly known as the Culver City Art Walk & Roll Festival, this is an all day art celebration that tackles place in the Arts District of Culver city. This event features over 100 vendors with art displays, live art murals, food trucks, live musical stage performances and a beer garden. December
Sledtacular Tree Lighting - This event takes in Town Plaza and Main Street in Downtown Culver City with snow play, snow sledding and merry-making. The event includes a visit from an elf from the north pole, hot chocolate, games, prizes and culminates in a festive tree lighting on stage with our Culver City Mayor, Vice-Mayor Councilmembers and other special guests.
